This policy explains what personal information Invest Portugal collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Invest Portugal is a service of Bazaliza Lawyers, and this policy sits alongside our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the nature of your enquiry and anything else you choose to tell us. We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to act for you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors. We set one preference cookie to remember your language and appearance choices. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.
Cross-border disclosure
Acting on a Portuguese matter usually requires us to share your information with Portuguese authorities, notaries, registries or local advisers. We will tell you before we do.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become matters are kept only as long as we need them to answer you. Where we act for you, file retention is governed by our professional obligations as an Australian law practice.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Write to info@investportugal.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
